Series of images from Zoom Quilt 1
I don’t know how I found these cool digital animation art pieces, but they are so interesting I could stare at them forever (and make myself dizzy). I set it as my screen saver!
This Zoom Quilt attributes Paul Hinze as the artist, but he certainly cannot take all the credit. He, like many other artists on this project, is a computer science student that constantly exercises his talent by completing art projects involving web development and computer programming.
Zoom Quilt is a collaborative art project that was created to display smooth animation and show how art interlocks. This Adobe Flash animation has been used on the adobe website and others such as metafilter and ebumsworld.
I personally think that any type of computer animation is amazing because I cannot begin to understand the complex digital construction of such an art piece.
