As I have been in school and developing myself as an artist, I have found that my work usually tends to push some sort of social justice issue. From many of my classes I have learned about tons of misconceptions, malpractices, cruelty, and problems that are just unknown to the uneducated public. I have looked to art as my voice to let these concerns be heard.
I am very passionate about this, but I am struggling with myself because of it. As an artist I also want to express beauty, creative experimentation, things that are nice to look at (but still have conceptual significance), and comedy.
